MeWha feels blessed to be living her dream…doing what she loves…with the gifts that God has given her, touching the lives of people in some of their most spectacular moments! She captures glimpses of eternity to be preserved forever!
Being the daughter of a singer and designer, MeWha has always loved art and music. From the time she was a small child, she was drawing, playing musical instruments, and playing with fabrics.
After her double majors in art and psychology at the University of Georgia, MeWha ventured to New York City to study fashion design. She was thrilled to live out her dream, working as a fashion designer in Manhattan for ten years.
When she moved back to Georgia, MeWha resumed the love for photography that she had acquired during her college years. It was a natural transition for her, as she transferred her training in fine art to the medium of photography. MeWha has an eye for “the moment,” which is intrinsic to her photojournalistic style, capturing the very essence of the people, emotions, and events that she photographs.
MeWha’s artistry culminates in this medium of story-telling, through her boutique one-of -a kind coffee table albums. Her collection of “moments” are interwoven into an evocative drama, bringing to remembrance the joy and the romance with cinematic flair.
MeWha lives in Central Georgia with her husband, who photographs alongside her. Together, they pursue their passion to preserve glimpses of eternity for all the lives that they are blessed to touch.
MeWha’s portfolio may be viewed at www.mewha.com.
