Summer Wind: An Intimate Evening with Frank Sinatra is the next event at the Tater Patch Players Theater in Jasper. The star of the show is Gabe Russo, a talented singer and actor, based in Dahlonega. One of his many talents is his ability to sing Sinatra songs just as Frank did. Gabe will be bringing you his version of Ol’ Blue Eyes on August 3, 4, 5, 10 and 11. You can find video of some of Gabe’s performances on YouTube, and see what a talented singer he is. Mr. Russo has just told the Players that for some of the shows’ second acts he will be bringing in some special guest performers…. but he won’t reveal these singers until show time.
To honor the legendary performer that was Frank Sinatra, Tater Patch Players will transform part of their theater into a mid-century styled supper club. The first three rows of seating will be changed to table seating, with decadent dessert and beverages available. There will still be four rows of theater-style seating available also. As a special bonus, the Players will add three tables on the main stage, right next to Mr. Sinatra’s microphone, so you can be entertained up-close. Those seating choices, paired with the wine and a decadent dessert selection and the velvet voice and tableside charm of this show, will take you back to the real feel of a swanky evening at a plush nightclub.
