The Roswell Summer Puppet Series 2011 is Here!

Want something fun you can do with the kids this summer? Try the Roswell Puppet Series!
Roswell’s Cultural Arts Center has been hosting the Roswell Puppet Series for fourteen years, and this years lineup is going to be a great one!
The shows are Monday through Saturday at 10 am with additional shows on Wednesday and Friday at 1 pm. Tickets for children ages 2 to 12 are $4 each, and over 12 years old to adult are $5 each. Tickets can also be purchased, cash, check or charge, thirty minutes prior to any show time at the Cultural Arts Center. For more information on tickets you can call: 770-594-6232.
As for the shows, this year’s lineup is going to be wonderful. From June 13th to 18th is “The Dragon King” performed by the Tanglewood Marionettes; from the 20th to the 25th if “The Big Bad, Little Red Pig Show” from Lee Bryan aka ‘the Puppet Guy.’ From June 27th to July 2nd is “Peter and the Wolf” and “The Frog Prince” from Frisch Marionette Company, July 4th to July 9th is “The Magic Fish” by the Roz Puppets. July 11th to the 16th is “The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow” presented by the Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers, and lastly the season ends with “Pinocchio” performed by the National Marionette Theatre.
